Concannon is an alternative rock band from Mid Missouri. While they lean more towards grunge influences (Nirvana, Alice in Chains,
The Foo Fighters, Stone Temple Pilots), they are also inspired by rock music from the 70's through the 90's.

The band was founded in 2021 by friends, Brody Vestal and Kai Alexander. They originally met at a young age, through their shared love of sports. As they grew older, the boys began to bond over their love of music.

They began to hone their musical craft with help from musician Derrick Enyard, of Str8-Music, in Moberly, Missouri. The two decided to have fun and create music, but were left without a bass player.

Vestal and Alexander turned to long time friend, Jacob Ayer. All three had played sports together for years. However, Jacob didn't know how to play. Through dedication and hard work, Jacob evolved into their bass player; with help from Vestal, Alexander, and Enyard.

After playing together, the boys began to play small gigs for family and friends. Their first major show was at local restaurant, Shady's, for New Year's Eve.
Throughout 2022, they would continue to accumulate shows all over Missouri.

In 2023, Concannon released their first album, "Distortion". It is available on all streaming platforms. An accompanying music video, for the single of the same name, was released in June 2023. In December 2023, the boys were nominated at the Missouri Rock Awards in Columbia, Missouri for New Band of the year.

In early Summer 2024, Jacob Ayer departed from Concannon as their bassist in order to pursue other projects and interests. A new bassist, Ray Webster, joined not long after. He knew of the band through his connection with drummer, Kai; having both attended the same high school.

on August 23, 2024, Concannon released their sophomore creation; an EP named, "Asthenia". An accompanying music video for the song of the same name was released September 8, 2024.

The boys look forward to this next chapter of making new music and playing more shows throughout the Midwest.
